Caulfield Cup fashion ideas 2019

Caulfield Cup is the main event of the Caulfield Cup Carnival, and is one of the biggest events in the Spring Racing calendar. Sponsored by Stella Artois, the event marks the start of racing season in Australia and excited racegoers waste no time dressing up for the occasion. The Caulfield Cup will be held on the 19 October at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne.

Generally speaking, Caulfield races fashion is conservative in style, with guests expected to wear sophisticated attire on the day. However, the Caulfield Cup dress code is themed, making it a little bit different from other Spring Racing events. This year the Caulfield Racecourse will be transformed into the five boroughs of New York City, inspired by the people, style and culture of NYC, with exclusive block party DJs for some after-the-race fun.

Caulfield Cup Hats and Fascinators

Discover a wide range of Caulfield Cup hats, hair accessories and fascinators sure to make your outfit pop. Choose traditional fascinators and headpieces in a number of cute colours to match or contrast with your race day dress. If you’re not a fan of the fascinator, you can opt for a wide brim hat, or a big bow hair piece for a contemporary look.

Caulfield Cup Shoes

Be picky with your shoes. There’s a lot of standing involved on race day, and you don’t want to end up with sore feet. Choose elegant shoes you know you will feel comfortable in and you won’t go far wrong. Choose muted neutral shoes with thick heels like clogs, or black block heels for a classic look.
